The InterContinental Davos has set up a new open-air pop-up restaurant on the hotel’s outdoor terraces, where guests can enjoy Alpine cheese and meat specialities.
The InterContinental Davos has set up a new outdoor restaurant to satisfy guests’ desire for typical Alpine cheese specialities. Guests can enjoy an evening under the Davos night sky with the feeling of being outside in the starry winter night and still feeling comfortably warm.
The Cheese Bubble Pop-Up offers authentic Bündner cheese specialities, ranging from local cheese variations for fondue and raclette to various meat dishes for a classic fondue chinoise. Selected side dishes and typical alpine spices are also served.
Wherever possible, the InterContinental Davos relies on local products and manufacturers throughout its gastronomy. Executive Chef Konstantin Möhring is enthusiastic; “If I, as chef, can show our guests the difference between local products, then the whole dish gets completely new taste aspects”. In the pop-up, the chef is focusing on mountain potatoes from the Albula valley and exclusively selected varieties that are currently only offered in Davos in the InterContinental Davos.
The new pop-up Cheese Bubble is open daily throughout the winter from 6.30 p.m. to 10 p.m., except on Sundays. Reservations are recommended.
The Cheese Bubble can also be used for special events.
